Amphitheatrum Sapientiae Hermeticum - 2019
Multimedia installation and blown glass
Varied dimensions
The Installation Amphitheatrum Sapientiae Hermeticum is the result of historical research on the cosmos and tells about our origins from a mystical and symbolic point of view. By mixing these elements with notions of alchemy, ancient astronomy, science fiction and fables, the story is narrated in a kind of mechanical theater, in which the mobiles seem to orbit in space, in a choreography of movements and lights. The use of blown glass refers to the process of transmuting matter. Using a speech without words but full of images that represent mysteries and enigmas, this work seeks to stimulate the intellect through the senses, and these symbolic image rituals allow us to connect to different universes, different scales and different levels of reality.
